Qtel Announces Strategic Investment with AT&T in NavLink, November 21 2006
Qtel (Qatar Telecom) today announced that it has signed an agreement to acquire a strategic stake in NavLink, a leading provider of managed data services to businesses in the Middle East. Qtel will hold an equity stake (38.2%) in the business, joining AT&T Inc.
This investment will allow Qtel to strengthen its existing strategic relationships with AT&T and NavLink such as the recently announced world-class data centre in Doha that hosts the first Middle Eastern node of AT&T’s global network. |

STC announces agreement with AT&T and NavLink to deploy advanced Global Data MPLS Node in Saudi Arabia, November 20 2006
 Saudi Telecommunications Company (STC), NavLink and AT&T today announced an agreement to deploy an AT&T Global data node in Saudi Arabia. Provisioning of the node, is well advanced and it is scheduled to be operational by the first half of 2007. The announcement was made at GulfComm ’06 in Dubai.
The advanced data Node from AT&T will allow AT&T and NavLink customers to directly interconnect to STC’s nationwide Multi-Protocol Lab Switching (MPLS) network – the largest and most advanced MPLS network in the Middle East region. |

Etisalat launches advanced Global Data Services in cooperation with AT&T and NAVLINK, November 20 2006
Emirates Telecommunications Corporation- Etisalat- today announced the deployment of a state-of-the-art ‘global network node’ that will provide Etisalat’s customers with safe, secure and reliable global connectivity.
Etisalat will deliver global connectivity and IP VPN services working with AT&T and NavLink. Etisalat is to host the AT&T Global Network (AGN) node in the UAE, offering IP VPN services both to local UAE customers seeking global connectivity and to existing multinational customers of AT&T seeking to extend their presence and reach in the Gulf region. Furthermore, AT&T and NavLink are working with Etisalat on extending and leveraging the AGN node by providing a set of value-added managed services centered on the capabilities the node enables, such as hosting and managed security platforms.
