Jakarta – April 11, 2013
Indosat and NavLink announced a partnership agreement to provide ‘Managed Router Services’ and ‘Managed Hosting Services’ as part of an extensive portfolio of Managed Services, serving the growing Indonesian market. The announcement was made during the Indosat ICT Conference event held in Jakarta and attended by Indosat’s President Director & CEO Mr. Alexander Rusli and NavLink’s CEO Mr. Khalil Al-Emadi.
The Indonesian Information and Communication Technology (ICT) market is witnessing major transformations that will require value-added ICT services over and above traditional ICT services. More specifically, businesses are asking for managed services instead of just data center space or basic connectivity. They also need assurance that their hosted infrastructure holding their company records, databases and other mission-critical information are monitored around the clock and managed by highly skilled experts. Businesses are seeking to offload the operation and maintenance of their WAN connectivity along with all the hassles and resources it requires. Indosat will be offering an end-to-end managed connectivity solution with service guarantees.
“Quality is a top priority for Indosat’s customers,” said Mr. Alexander Rusli. ”We have invested with NavLink to create Indonesia’s first Data Centers that provide managed services with a high quality of service. Our team is composed of highly skilled ICT experts who will address the stringent needs of our Enterprise customers and provide a state-of-the-art service. In addition to quality, we will provide our customers with the maximum levels of world-class security.”
The partnership between NavLink and Indosat is seen as one that would take both companies on a strategic journey of creating a real difference in the Indonesian ICT market.
“NavLink is committed to providing the necessary skills, at a global level, to enable Indosat to provide its customers with turn-key solutions with a wide range of managed services across many ICT platforms and several other professional services,” explained Mr. Khalil Al-Emadi. “Indosat’s new service offerings will save customers time and money spent on building and maintaining hosting facilities, operating their connectivity infrastructure, and staffing valuable Information Technology resources that would otherwise need to be available around the clock” he further added.
NavLink and Indosat will also fully assist customers in developing business continuity plans, implementing disaster recovery solutions for their IP applications, with the utmost network and systems integrity, thus enabling customers to focus on their core business.
