NavLink participates in "Made in America 2003" Trade Fair in Beirut
September 2003
NavLink participated in "Made in America 2003: For The Earth," a trade fair for U.S. goods and services that showcased over 100 American companies. The trade fair was held at the Beirut Export Center, Beirut - Lebanon, from September 1st till the 3rd 2003. NavLink demonstrated its different services from Business Consultancy, System & Network Integration, Support and Managed Services to Enterprise Hosting and AT&T Business. When announcing the trade fair, U.S. Ambassador to Lebanon Vincent M. Battle noted that, "Our sponsorship of this trade fair is a reflection of our belief that the engine for reform and growth in Lebanon must be the private sector and that the U.S. private sector can serve as a stimulus. While government-to-government contact and cooperation is important, it is the business-to-business relationships that can make a more immediate difference in the well-being of the average Lebanese while simultaneously benefiting this country and its economy." Among the U.S. companies that participated, some are new to the Lebanese market alongside many familiar names such as Microsoft, Western Union, Procter & Gamble, General Electric, IBM, and Citibank.... The fair also featured speakers on the latest American technologies and business practices. The organizers intend to make the trade fair an annual event with a different sector in the spotlight each year. For the inaugural edition of "Made in America," the environmental technology sector has been selected.
