NavLink at ITU TELECOM AFRICA 2004
May 5th, 2004 - Cairo Egypt


NavLink participated as panelist in ITU TELECOM AFRICA 2004 that took place in Cairo, Egypt, from 4-8 May 2004 (http://www.itu.int/AFRICA2004/). The event brought together leading players from government, regional and international operators, manufacturers, regulators and investment bodies in a major Exhibition and Forum with the theme "Access Africa".
 
 
The Forum attended by government and industry leaders and key opinion makers examined topical areas central to the region's growth, such as the expanding mobile market or the management of Internet resources. NavLink's Co-President and Chief Operation Office, Mr. Laurent Delifer was invited as panelist at the “Creating Successful Business Models” plenary.The plenary was chaired and moderated by His Excellency Mr. Albert Kan-Dapaah, Ghana’s Minister of Communications, with high-level keynote speakers and a lineup of distinguished panelists including executives from Orange, Ericsson, Alcatel and Intel. The session looked at a range of firms from different sectors that are building successful business models for the African market, and considered what lessons they can offer to others. The session showed what works and what does not, as well as examined some of the particular challenges of doing business in Africa.
