La Lettre Sud INFOS -
Europe - December 2002
End 2000, NavLink has set up its Network Operations Centre and European Internet Data Centre in a
3000 m2 building in Sophia-Antipolis. Since then, its service offering has continuously broadened,
from simple Web hosting to enterprise Internet and Intranet systems and network integration. In the
light of its continuing growth, NavLink has just invested 1M€ to reinforce the reliability of its electric
power supply and is about to invest another 0.6M€ for the expansion of its computer rooms by
another 400 m2.
Our customers are more and more demanding, in particular with respect to reliability and availability.
Moreover, our computer rooms are nearly full. These new investments allow us to anticipate the
strong growth we are expecting in 2003,” explains Herve Babey, Marketing Manager.
NavLink’s Data Centre has presently a staff of 16; five more are to be added next year. NavLink’s 80
customers hosted in the Sophia-Antipolis Data Centre are located within the PACA region (15), in
other regions of France (45), and in the USA, Europe, and the Middle East (20).
